ABOUT MEI am a graduate of Ashland University and a Columbus born native. I currently live with my husband and 2 dogs in the Merion Village area of Columbus. I love to cook, read, exercise and travel the world. While in school I worked 3 years at the primary level at a bilingual preschool.I have also worked 9 years at the secondary level teaching various levels of high school Spanish. This year in Grandview I will teach 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade and Spanish II. In addition to the experience I have had inside the classroom, I have also had many opportunities to expand and develop my languages skills and cultural knowledge through travel to various Spanish-speaking countries. I lived abroad for a year as an exchange student in high school and have also been a part of missions trips and study abroad programs in both college and as a young adult. I look forward to not only teaching and sharing the Spanish language with your child but also its rich culture!

MY CLASSROOM I am very excited to have new students in my classroom this year and to be able to get to know them! I am very passionate about what I do and believe that learning a new language is an exciting, possible, worthwhile and often times necessary journey for many different people in various walks of life. I believe that learning a new language has the power to alter cultural perceptions, break down barriers and ultimately change lives. I hope that this year spent in my classroom is life changing for you!
